the STORY

Yep, I am a real estate agent, broker, agent, Realtor®, mom, wife, friend, daughter, sister, stepmom and sometime real estate therapist.

That is how "Houses with Stories" got started ... my passion for selling homes and telling their stories!

​

The concept was born when I was selected as the listing agent for an amazing property in Evergreen, Colorado that had never been offered for sale since it was constructed in the 1960's. It not only had a historical connection to the town of Evergreen in the original owners, my clients also had their own story to tell about the rehab, renovation and ultimate design touches they added while preserving the initial integrity of the original build. Finding creative ways to market homes is something I take seriously. I have prided myself on cutting edge marketing in the ever-changing world of technology and amongst tough competition. I have always offered professional staging services and professional photography as part of my core marketing services. I started using 3D virtual tours a couple of years before they became "mainstream." I came up with the concept of having my sellers tell their stories about their homes and even themselves ... as I believe EVERY home has a story to tell and I am honored to tell it!

 

I firmly believe that I have one chance to present a home for sale to the market in the best light possible and keep the potential buyers focused on the property, and not the "things" inside the home. A showing lasts 15 minutes or less for an average sized home. That is not a lot of time to capture someone's attention and interest!

In 2021, my husband and I found our home with a story and we have loved telling it since. Buying the "House of Many Stairs" has been an amazing journey and has ultimately given us a chance to create a new beginning and life for our family.
